for everyone

We are sorry if we have been the cause of flooding your e-mail with unwanted blogs.

The multiply site came about because participants in our Trainings were asking for photos and updates.  Our project:  Installation of Responsible Parenthood and Family Welfare Program in the Workplace has Ten Partipating Companies in Batangas.  (Companies employing 200 workers or more are required by law to put up clinics, and provide Family Planning services, among others - all monitored by DOLE - in the Workplace). We have trained Five Family Health Management Team for Each Company, Four Peer Educators, and Two for Monitoring and Evaluation and Cost-Benefit-Anlysis.   This program is sponsored by USAID implemented by PRISM in the Philippines and then implemented by BPCCI in Batangas.

We also have the PROPEL Project - Promoting Regional Opportunities for Enterprise and Livelihood Development, with its own network - a project of Senator Kiko Pangilinan, under PCCI  Another group is the Generating your Business Idea and Starting Your Own Business Trainers, an International Labour Organization Sponsored Training Group.

I did not realize how powerful a networking tool multiply.com can be. Since 2004, I have amassed an extensive e-mail address collection and multiply sends to everyone in my list.  I try to delete the contacts that are blatant advertisers, to minimize spamming your inboxes.  I cannot, however, filter those announcements that are purely for Batangas members, or for the PRISM Project, or PROPEL Project, etc. So, I apologize for making you read announcements that do not concern you.

I personally take full responsibility for the multiply site; but it's postings are purely BPCCI activities and items of general concern to BPCCI and its committess  1.  Membership; 2.  Agriculture and Food Security; 3.  IT and Export Development; 4.  Retail and Franchising; 5. Investment Promotion; 6.  Transportation and Port Services; 7.  Construction and Housing; 8.  Tourism and the Environment; 9.  Tariff and Taxation; 10.  Industry;  11.  Trade and Commerce; 12.  Small and Medium Enterprises, Quality and Productivity; 13.  Education and Services; 14.  Energy and Utilities.

I have my personal site for my personal activities and concerns.

An official site under www.sme.com.ph is also underway. We hope to present it for general viewing soon.

Our best regards.

The Family Health Management Project Team for Batangas Province
